How do I use the webshop?

There are two ways to find a product on our website.

1. On top of the page you can find the XLBoom search bar, wich will help you find what you’re looking for.
2. On the homepage of the shop, you can find all the different collections of XLBoom. Depending on what you’re looking for, you can click on the collection that you want to discover. Use the filters to find a specific product. You can search by category/material/collection or by price. Use the “clear all” to remove the filters again.

As soon as you’ve made your choice you can add the product to your shopping cart by clicking ‘Add to cart’ button.

 

Cart

By clicking ‘cart’, ‘view cart’ in the upper right corner you get an overview of the products you have chosen. With this tool you can also easily check what you have spent so far.
When you click ‘Proceed to check out”, you can log in as a "returning customer" or "no account" register. Once you’re logged in you can continue shopping and the items you’ve chosen beforehand will remain in your shopping cart.

When you register we ask you for the following information:

2. Shipping information
Here at XLBoom we can send your order to another address than your own.
Choose “ship to this address” or “ship to a different address”.
Select a shipping address from your address book or enter a new address.

Use “save in address book” if you want to save it for another purchase. 

3. Shipping method
Products will be sent by GLS. Our courier company will send you an e-mail with your delivery information & tracking number. If you want to change something, you can contact them directly.

5. Order review

If your payment was succesful, you will receive a confirmation email with all the information about your order.
Overview your order and click “Place order”.

How do I know if my order was successfully placed?

Once you’ve paid for your order you'll receive a confirmation email with an overview of the order details. Once your order is dispatched, you will receive an e-mail from our courier GLS.

 

How do I know how much I have to pay for my order?

If you click on a product you wish to buy, you can add it to your shopping cart. When you’re done shopping, click the cart button. By “estimate shipping and tax you can check your shipping cost. You can then see the price of your order, including all shipping costs & tax.  Custom duties are the sole responibility of the buyer and are not included in the total cost. 

 

When can I expect my order?

Below you can find an overview of the delivery times for any kind of order for the countries XLBoom most often ships to. However, this indicated delivery time is not binding and can therefore take a few more days. Islands and hard-to-reach areas require an extra 1 to 3 day delivery period. That does not imply delays at customs control or during holidays.

How can I track my order?

As soon as your parcel left our warehouse you will receive an email with your tracking number and other useful information from our courier GLS.

 

Do I have to pay any additional costs when my order is delivered?

No, the amount shown at the end of the payment process is the amount that will be debited from your account. No additional costs will have to be paid at delivery. Except custom duties. If – for some reason – you should have to pay extra, we will always let you know beforehand. 

 

What payment methods can I choose from on the XLBoom web shop? 

XLBoom cooperates with Ingenico, iDeal & Paypal. These payment services offers a whole range of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Bancontact & Maestro.

 

How much does an international shipment cost?

The shipping costs differ depending on the country you wish to send your parcel to. Below you can find the price chart of shipping costs for countries in Europe. We divided the European region in 4 zones. Each zone has its specific rates.
As soon as you buy for more than a certain amount, you don’t have to pay any shipping cost. This amount depends on the zone you wish to ship to:

Zone 1:  free shipping on orders of 150 EUR and over
Zones 2:  free shipping on orders of 250 EUR and over
Zones 3-4:  free shipping on orders of 300 EUR and over

If you have to pay shipping costs, they will be included in the final amount you have to pay online. That way you won’t get taken by any surprises when your parcel is being delivered.

When your country is not in the list you can request your shipping rate. We will process and answer your request as soon as possible. If you have any questions about the shipping cost, don’t hesitate to contact us via shop@xlboom.com.

 

Are there any products that can't be shipped to my country because they're not allowed there? 

If – for whatever reason – XLBoom can’t deliver the parcel to your country, we will definitely contact you via email.

 

Can I pick up my parcel at the XLBoom office?

Yes, you can make an appointment by phone or e-mail, to pick up your parcel at Simon De Heuvellaan 1, 2110 in Wijnegem near Antwerp, Belgium.

IMPORTANT: customers that want to pick up their order at XLBoom shouldn’t order over the website, but need to do so by calling us or writinig us an email. That way they avoid paying shipping costs. Orders need to be picked up within 14 calendar days and have to be paid for in the office. We accept cash, bancontact & credit cards.

 

What is the return policy of XLBoom?

Renunciation right
We try our very best to deliver the most qualitative products, but nonetheless it’s possible you’re not entirely satisfied with your purchase. In that case you can return your product(s).

When buying a product online you have the right to renounce your purchase without penalty and without stating a reason. The renunciation has to take place within 14 calendar days starting from the day after the goods have been delivered. You need to report your renunciation via email and ask for a return label. You can ask for a return label up to 14 days after your parcel was delivered. When you write us don’t forget to mention your full name, the number of your delivery note and the product you want to return.

A product which you wish to return must satisfy the following conditions:

It must be in new condition.
It must be undamaged.
It must be unused and complete
It must be untorn packaging and in original condition.
The packaging, however, may be opened.

If these conditions are complied with, then XLBoom engages to reimburse you within thirty (30) days from package receipt date. Initial and return shipping costs remain the responsibility of the customer. If the conditions aren’t complied with, then the amount will not be reimbursed.

Exceptions

The renunciation right does not apply to certain products. Those are:
-goods that were customized according to customer's specific needs

 

Damaged and/or incomplete order

If you received a damaged or incomplete order, you are entitled to a free replacement (i.e. goods and transport). You need to contact us via email within 2 days after you received the parcel and send us pictures of the damaged goods.

What does my privacy mean to XLBoom?

At XLBoom your personal data are safe. The personal information we gather through this website remains private and is managed solely by us. We will never disclose or sell personal information to any third parties. Your data are being stored safely in a private database.

So why do we need your personal data? We use them to process orders, for direct marketing purposes and to make internal statistical analyses. We only send you newsletters, offers and other circulars if you have explicitly given permission to do so. You can unsubscribe from our mailing list at any time by sending an email to shop@xlboom.com. You can also write to that email address to report a change in your personal data or if you want them to be erased from our system.

We can ask you for the following information:

-your full name and address, so that we can deliver your goods correctly -your email address and telephone number to keep you informed about your order
-your payment data, which we need to finish off your order. Ingenico, IDEAL & Paypal–the market leaders when it comes to safe electronic payments – guarantees a safe transfer and processing of your payment data.

All other sensitive information that we obtained from you through the website will be protected with coding techniques that are standard in IT.
